At the piano. In my career. In my life.
Eight pages of music taped together in one long strip. Every note mapped out.
No improvisation.
No risk.
Just follow the composition perfectly.
I became excellent at it.

From age four and a half, the sheet music told me exactly what was expected. And that felt safe.
So I followed the same pattern everywhere: the marketing degree I didn't want, the corporate ladder I climbed dutifully, the identities I wore; daughter, wife, Project Director.
All defined by external expectations.
I became excellent at performing other people's compositions.
But somewhere along the way, that perfect performance started to feel hollow.
I entered a Graduate Diploma program eager to become more self-aware. My mentor had completed it and was the best people manager I'd ever experienced.
Day 3, I was crying on a beach, unable to catch my breath.
The program had no tests. No assignments. No structure. Just group circles sitting in silence.
For two years, I sat in that space with an elephant on my lap. Paralyzed. Unable to speak.
The inner critic was relentless: "You are the only one who cannot contribute. You are the dumbest person in this room. You are worthless."
My comfort had always lived in the "known" defined roles, clear expectations.
This undefined space of self-discovery left me in emotional chaos I couldn't control or understand.
But that silence became my essential guide.
By the end of those two years, I had become more self-aware.
Not neatly, but through my inner wounding surfacing. My feelings became the invaluable signals pointing me toward myself.
It was exactly what I had asked for. And I will be forever grateful.
Single mother of two, navigating financial uncertainty and identity dissolution.
In Bali, I spent four hours a day purging emotions I didn't know I was carrying. Screaming, crying, releasing decades of the "good girl" who never disappointed.
On the plane home, I felt joyful and free in a way I'd never experienced.
There was nothing within me too scary to look at anymore.
And that is the most liberating place to be.
In 2018, at 44, I left my safe corporate job to pursue my passion.
On a real park bench in the Botanical Gardens, I began my new work life—the symbolic place where I'd imagined my future self asking: "What do you want your life to stand for?"
I was terrified. Losing financial security for my kids. What if it doesn't work?
But I knew I couldn't stay safe and practical anymore.
My dad was unexpectedly in hospital. My business wasn't working. I walked past my piano and sat down without reaching for sheet music.
For the first time in 20 years, I simply began.
What came through was music I'd never heard before. Music from somewhere much deeper than my technical training.
The difference between performing someone else's composition and allowing your true self to emerge.
Then I discovered this wasn't just personally transformational.
When I began offering these live improvised piano sessions to leaders, the sound frequencies helped their nervous systems regulate, created clearings for alignment with purpose, and opened connection to essence in ways conversation alone never could.
Each personalized piano mantra, composed uniquely for that person in that moment, never to be played again - became a lifetime asset.
"The music is not of me... it moves through me."
This became the heart of my work.

It emerged organically in 2022, but it had been developing across a lifetime.
Every silence I sat through. Every corporate change initiative I led. Every healing journey I walked. Every moment at the piano. Every uncertainty I navigated as a single mother choosing my path.
Twenty-plus years of self-enquiry, presence practice, somatic healing, sound frequency work, group dynamics, systems thinking, and change navigation…all connected together.
Not as theory, but as embodied, lived wisdom.

MOJO Practice™ integrates sound frequency healing, somatic wisdom, presence practice, group dynamics, systems thinking, and change navigation.
Sound frequency healing through live improvised piano bypasses thinking, regulates nervous systems, clears blocks, and connects you to essence.
Somatic wisdom releases stored emotions that block purpose. Presence practice builds capacity to pause and ask "What am I noticing about me?" rather than rushing to fix.
Group dynamics creates space for the unspoken. My elephant now guides this work.
This isn't coaching. It isn't therapy.
It's transformation at the level of frequency, soma, and nervous system—creating clearings for your purpose to emerge and your essence to lead.
